There is a hardware (HW) error while accessing the persistent data on device. During the product data management (PDM) initialization on startup, failing electrically erasable programmable ROM (EEPROM) accesses to the data allocation table (DAT) lead to an abortion of the PDM initialization. This could indicate one of the following:
- EEPROM hardware malfunction or a temporary hardware access problem during PDM initialization.
- Electronic control unit (ECU) reprogramming with incompatible software. (In this case, IBST_d141_pdmFieldSizeMis? is also ?reported.)
